Today I conducted a review of the demonstration Epicor plans to present at our ERP Vendor Webinar Series. The presentation will be done by Stephen Gregory, one of Epicor’s finest presenters.
Stephen will present a demonstration on Epicor’s best practices for the complex manufacturing industry. He will follow a “best practice” script Ultra has designed for mid market companies the make to order parts for customers. The script goes from finding an opportunity through the sales, ordering, planning, production and accounting process.
Stephen is going to show how the Epicor ERP system can track an opportunity, develop an estimate for a new part, quote the part, convert the quote to an order, plan, build and ship the product from WIP without having to set up a new part in the part master database.
In addition, Stephen will show how sales can initiate the entire process through the sales persons Outlook desktop. Attendees are also going to be able to see a complete flow of information electronically with no paper.
