We have learned here at Ultra Consultants that implementing a new ERP system is a great chance to implement and improve fundamental business processes.

There is no value in taking the time and effort to select an ERP solution that simply mimics current processes

Instead, the post makes the point that manufacturers should focus on the desired end-state.  What features will be needed to meet changing business processes and customer requirements?
