  • Tier III ERP products have a lower cost of ownership.

The benefit to a Tier III ERP product is that they are designed for small establishments, have a low cost of ownership, and are quick and easy to implement. The risk is that a company may outgrow the product in a few years, and the ERP Tier III vendor is a smaller company with limited size and resources to keep up with technology.
